It's Christmas

There's snow outside. Snow that fell down a week ago. It's still there. It's freezing, so it means this is a real white Christmas. News said it was one last year as well, but then most of it melted away cause it rained most of the time. But this is real, white and dry snow.

Mom and dad will be over in about an hour. I baked and made a browny cake. Also already prepared dinner, all it needs is go into the oven for a bit. Hope it works this way, otherwise no dinner for us, lol. Of course I was all done and then looked to my right and noticed all the tomato slices. Like...major ingredient of it. So had to scrape off some stuff and then put in the tomatoes. I think I did well considering. I hate cooking, and suck at it too so let's just pray this will turn out okay enough to eat and taste nice, lol.

Of course I also got down with a lovely cold: sore throat etc...Oh well.

And a week from now it will be 2011. One more year to go to 2012. Will we all live by then, that's the big question. Haha.

Yay for throat infections

Mom and dad arrived at around 2 o'clock this afternoon. Was nice. We chatted, I did tarots for all of them and dinner was lovely. The recipe was for 4 people, but there's so much food left I can feed myself for another 3 days.

Sadly...my throat is not getting better. Much talking didn't do me good, but also the food. Feels like my throat is on fire and swallowing is a bitch. Overall feeling is crappy too, but hopefully will be better tomorrow. Cause then I'll go over to mom and dad for another xmas day. Yes, we have 2 days of Christmas in this country.

What made this day most special, was the emotional talk we had. Dad said something about me, he didn't mean any harm with it, but it made me cry. And we had a deep, emotional talk and it helped me so much to understand something about myself so much better. Something I always knew, but this time it just hit home. So, emotional, but good!

And tomorrow I'll see wonderful Rosalie again. <3
