I feel like I'm all back in high school again. Tonight I was supposed to go to work, cause Tuesday nights are nights the entire team comes together for meetings etc...
Anyway, last week I asked for a night off tonight, since I was supposed to go somewhere else this evening. But that appointment was cancelled today, so I actually could go to work. But I decided to take some time for myself.
However...I got a call about an hour or so ago from a colleague of mine who was wondering where I was. I told him I had asked to have the night off because I had to go away this evening. But that was now a lie. Yikes. Now what am I going to tell them tomorrow when I show up for work???
Gosh...I hate telling little lies, even though it wasn't a complete lie.
