At the end of the year I always buy a lottery ticket, the only one of the year. The jackpot is high (€30 million) and it's always nice to think about what you'd do with all that money if you happen to win it.
My musings:
- Pay off my mortgage.
- Give a third to my parents and a third to my sister.
- Look for a new house, somewhere more quiet, with an amazing view.
- Look into options of buying some kind of holiday home in Ireland
- Buy more books
- Put money into my account for savings, so that I'll never have to worry about money ever again.
- Travel the world
- Find a job/something to do I really love (work in a bookstore perhaps?)
I think that's it? What would you do if you happen to win a lot of money?
I should get dressed now and get ready to go to my sister where I'll be spending New Year's Eve. I'm scared to go outside, because already there's lots of fireworks outside. I still can't understand why it's allowed to light fireworks at 10.00 in the morning here. It's only bangs, bangs, bangs and I am so sick of it.
