Rijksmuseum Amsterdam
3 March 2014 09:55Yesterday I visited the Rijksmuseum with my parents. It re-opened last April and heard a lot of good stories about it. Since we have a pass that allows us to have free access, we decided to go there yesterday. Left early so we would arrive there early as well and avoid the crowds.
The museum is quite big, so we didn't get to see everything, yet. When we arrived on the second floor, it turned out it was the floor that contained all work by Rembrandt Van Rijn. And it was CROWDED there. Like, not even funny crowded. Everyone seemed to have only come to the museum to only see his work.
It was then that we decided to leave and return another day, when it would be more quiet and less crowded.

See...too many people in a too narrow space. Not my cup of tea.

The entire building was a piece of art as well. I loved the ceiling.
