oh god. There's an episode of a show I like to watch. I've watched that particular episode quite a few times and it gets me teared up every single time I watch it. It's about a boy and girl who ran away from home and who were hiding in an empty house. Then one day a woman decides to live in that house so the kids will have to reveal themselves. They make up stories about why they are there until they are forced to tell the truth. In the end they get extremely scared this woman might turn them in (even though she has no intention at all) and they decide to steal her motor bike and run off. Sadly, they get stuck in the desert. They don't want to be found though, so they keep on running. Then there's a shot of them sitting near a tree, with no water left. An eagle flies over their head and the boy says "I wish we were a bird, so that we would be free".
In the end the kids are found, but they are dead though. The final shot is of the woman saying "all they wanted was their freedom" and at the same moment you see two eagles flying high above in the sky.
That's when I break down and cry. It may sound extremely cheesy, but I'm a sucker for these kind of things.

The eagles are in LOTR as well and those shots get me every time as well. There's just something about I guess.......
