MRI and heart tests all happened this morning. Finding an artery was kind of difficult, which it always is, so ended up going to see an anaesthetist who managed to insert the IV. All in all it delayed everything, but everyone was really good about it and managed to just reschedule till a bit later.

MRI was...loud. Had to lay on my tummy, arms in front of me for about 20 minutes total. It wasn't scary, though it did freak me out at times, mostly because lying still for a long time makes your body do strange things. And the noise...jesus that was loud. Didn't even manage to hear the music.

Also got an ejection fraction heart measurement, which happened by injecting me with radioactive stuff while I lay down and a machine was close to my breast apparently taking photos. Was quite relaxing actually, quiet as well and way better than the MRI.

ECG took about 3 minutes total, including getting undressed and dressed.

Now all I need for tests is a PET/CT scan, which means another IV, which is actually freaking me out a bit now, due to all the needle hassle and stress. But yeah, chemo is a lot of IV as well, so I might need a chat about that.

And time people, time is again such a weird thing. Almost 3 weeks ago I went to the hospital for all the tests only to find out I have cancer and yet it feels so so long ago. All other appointments with friends, but also hospitals, it feels surreal, weird. Some things feel ages ago, others don't.
This holiday has lasted forever and I often don't even know what day it is, while I normally always know.

At times all this is so overwhelming and tiring as well. Like today: all the tests cost me a lot of energy, mostly due to stress and anxiety. Cancer is so much more than just cancer, it's just everything that comes with it. But one day at a time and we'll get there eventually.
