(pathetic) booklist of 2012 + Happy New Year

 I didn't read nearly as many books as I wanted to. I started to read in several books that I simply didn't finish. Lost my reading focus and read most books during the summer. My goal for next year is to read again, a lot. 

1 - 3. The Hunger Games Trilogy - loved the first book, like the second, was kinda meh about the third.

 

4. The Hundred Year Old Man… - loved the beginning, as story progressed became kinda fed up with the flashbacks.

 

5 - 7. The Chaos Walking Trilogy - loved everything about these books.

 

8. The Book Of Lost Things  - loved this book a lot.

 

9. Agent 6 - child 44 was amazing, this is the 3rd book of the trilogy and amazingly sucky. 

 

10. Before I Go To Sleep  - quite freaky, couldn't stop reading at one point.

 

11 - 17. Harry Potter 1-7 - red-read of course. Still amazing.

 

18. The Hypnotist - yeah, no, I eventually ended up skipping whole parts of it. Had potential, but wasn't my thing.

 

19. What Alice Forgot - re-read, didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first time.

And so yeah...it's 2013. Fireworks were insane this year, up to the point I wanted to strangle some kids. And today it's still not ever. What the fuck? Can we please, please ban all fireworks that are only loud bangs and nothing else? Would be lovely. 

Had to get up really early this morning, after a night of almost no sleep, because family wanted to go for breakfast somewhere fancy. Was nice, but ugh, early mornings!

Also: past week I didn't get much sleep whatsoever due to the amazing top2000. I don't care what people think of the songs that made the list, it's an amazing event. I once didn't even get to sleep till 5 because I didn't want to miss a thing. I already miss the comfy, lovely bubble I was in the past week. Real life calls again.
