Ugh. No. Snow!

So...really snow now. Dry snow because it's freezing. And will for the rest of the week. All cycling lanes were crap when I returned home because of course they hadn't been cleaned. So tomorrow it will most likely be an icy, white mass. Do. Not. Want.

I used to get so happy when it would snow. But last year ruined Winter for me when it just didn't end. And it's too soon! Too bloody soon!

And the cold. Oh the cold. I hate being cold.

Sigh...so many rants. Oh...yeah...one final rant. They're working on the street outside my home. For weeks now really. They removed the tree and plants that stood in front of my house. Now it appears to be a big parking spot. I have no idea if it will stay this way or if they plan on putting the plants back. I hope the latter, because now I feel even less at ease at my home. And there's now almost no green to be seen anymore. In one of the early plans they mentioned how they would bring back more green, but so far I've yet to see it since they removed everything, but didn't return anything to replace it.

Happy note to end this post with: less than three weeks now till the long awaited christmas break! Fuck yeah!

Ugh. *hugs* I can feel your pain with the snow and all. Like I've said, we've had winters that have gone for 5 months around here before. I walk everywhere and use a small pull along cart for shopping, and it's such a pain in the winter. So few really shovel their walks, and, even if they do, forget how to use sand and salt on them. *shakes head* It can be such a mess. Vision impaired, elderly, or disabled people (especially with wheelchairs) don't get around well in the winter around here, so they have to find people to drive them or have to stay home. It's really sad.

Hopefully they'll finish what they're doing in front of your house and replace the green they removed soon. I have a feeling it might not be until after the snow goes, sadly. *hugs* I'm sorry it's making you uneasy. I wish I could help. :-(

And... YAY for Christmas break! It won't be too long now. ;-)
