11 August 2008 20:32I started this journal at the beginning of 2004 and decided a long time ago that I should actually back these entries up. Print them out and keep them safe somewhere just for the day LJ will not exist anymore. Never could find a convenient way to do it, and still haven't, but am using LJ export service. Which means I can select only one month at a time to export. I've managed to export 2004 entirely now, which means I still have 2005, 2006, 2007 and half of 2008 to go. And so far it's taking up 37 pages of Word, font size 10 used!!! Holy cow! That's a lot. And it's taking me forever as well, though not really, of course.
Went back to school as well again today, after having the weirdest night of sleep last night. I woke up at 6.15 but managed to fall back to sleep again having such an intense dream that got brutally interrupted by the alarm clock!
Though I didn't have a class to teach this morning, I decided to stay around in my own class for the first half of the morning. And all doubts aside: meeting the children, hearing their stories, making jokes with them...I loved it.
Taught another class this afternoon, and I really enjoyed the long conversation I started with about museums and such. The rest was okay too, though not as intense.
