My dad returned my iMac last Saturday to the store I bought it from. They have technical support there, and they had a new video graphics card waiting for me. I was hoping that would solve my screen issues. But no little then 5 minutes after it returned home the issues were back. And now they will come pick her up with the Apple ambulance tomorrow. Brought the iMac over to my parents and am using my old iMac, which is so weird. The screen is so tiny, though the fonts are now bigger as well. It's weird using Tiger again and...this iMac is making so much more noise! So weird.
Anyway...so she'll be picked up tomorrow and will be brought to the Apple hospital where she will have to spend several nights. Not sure when she'll be back. But I made a full backup though just before I disconnected her, so if anything might fail, there's still the backup. I just hope they will fix this issue, cause I want to be able to use this mac and enjoy it. Cause I've always enjoyed my Macs and never had any serious issues with them.
Something else: school started again this Tuesday and it's amazing how quick you can adjust to that type of life again. Though I still have to drag myself out of bed early in the morning. But other than that it's just like those holidays never happened. Odd.
Can I just add that I totally underrated Virginia (by Tori)? When I heard it on one of the Legs & Boots albums I was actually quite amazed by that song. Never paid it much attention, but I kept on playing it. So, now the studio version is playing and goodness, I discover things about this song that I just hadn't noticed before. I love this song! Took me 5 years to discover this song, but that's what I just love about Tori's music: I always, even after all those 11 years, still discover new things in her music!
