prettygoodyear...last week...last week seems to be so far away. I've worked one day and an evening and my god, my head is filled with too much stuff already. Unbelievable. Have to do this, have to do that...amazing how two weeks of laziness can be erased in just only a day and an evening...
Then: it's so cold these days! Especially in the south, so I guess I'm lucky. There's ice everywhere, but no snow. Which is a shame. And because it's a little warmer in the north, it's not freezing enough for the "elfstedentocht". Which is a bloody shame. Cause that's such a fun race and event. Thousands of people all packed on the ice, skating from one city to the other, 100 km in total, if I'm not mistaken. Last time it took place was in 1997, so 12 years ago. And we were all hoping it would take place this winter, cause it's so cold and freezing. but it's too warm in the north to get thick enough ice. And it's supposed to warm up after tomorrow so...I'm kinda sad about it. Though I HATE the cold, and the fact that it's amazingly slippery outside.
Oh well...winter isn't over yet.
