What a shame about Stardust. :-( I adore the book! I read it before I saw the movie, and I ended up loathing the movie. To me, the book was perfect and they destroyed so much of what I had loved about it. Especially the end. Why, oh why did they re-write the end? I actually re-read the last chapters out loud to myself, I loved them so much. Don't even get me started on the whole cross-dressing captain thing in the film... *shakes head in dismay* I wonder now, if I had seen the movie first, would I have liked it? Who knows!

Also: I really shouldn't be commenting anyway as I rarely read anything beyond my spirituality, psychology, astrology etc stuff. I hardly ever read fiction or non-fiction stories. The last fiction I read was the re-reading of the last chapters of book 6 and all of book 7 of the Harry Potter series in preparation for Part One of the Deathly Hallows in the theatre. *hides face* I'll go back to my corner now. *tip toes away*
