I never ever randomly buy something I don't need. Especially not when it costs some money. I always think things through over and over before I buy it. I can easily pay for a book or CD or movie, no biggy. But as soon as it is something else, like a new DVD player, new clothes, new shoes a plane ticket etc...I think it all through for days. Until it feels right and then I can go out and buy it. This Monday though I just purchased something I don't really need that costed over a €100,-. I don't know why I bought it, but as soon as it was purchased, I knew I made the wrong decision. And now I feel so weird about it. I know money is just money, but when I was little money was a big issue at home. We never had any, my parents had to pay off loans and debts for years. My mom handled it all very well and we always had something to eat, a house to live in etc...but it resulted in me being very careful with money etc...And now I just purchased something " expensive" I so don't need!!! I'm so confused about it now. Terrible!
