Today I spent a day with my mom. We took the train to The Hague where we had a wonderful lunch and also just walked along this one shopping street which was away from the city centre but was therefor much more fun. The street contained a bookstore and we of course had to set foot in it. It was quite big and they had so many great books. And also a lot of books I already own and read. Books I love so much, so I often just stood in front of it thinking "God, if I could just discover this book again for the first time."
They also had this book:

This book is my all-time favourite book. However, the copy of the book I have at home is the non-illustrated one but I always wanted to own this version. And there it was. I bought it, needless to say. The girl behind the counter told me this book was amazing and I told her I already read it, but a different version, but that I had to own this one. She understood.
This book is gorgeous. Amazing. Wonderful. If anyone ever needs book ideas: go read this one. Please.
There were a lot of other books there as well, but I couldn't choose and my money is limited, sigh. But boy oh boy this bookstore gave me life. Shame it's so far from where I live. And maybe I should just apply for a job in a bookstore. To be surrounded by books all day…bliss!
